Where it is desirable to offer Darood


In all prayers in sitting posture after reciting “Al-Tahyat”
In funeral prayer after second announcement (Takbeer)
In Friday and Eid sermons.
After the prayer call from mosques.
While entering or coming out of the mosque.
On the two hillocks Al-Safa and Al-Marwah between which Saee is performed.
Whenever and wherever the Prophet’s name is called.
While going to market.
After saying the Talbiyah during the performance of Hajj
While kissing the Black Stone in Ka`abah.
Having seen the Prophet’s mosque in Madina.
After the recitation of Holy Quran.
On Fridays as many times as one can say.
While seeking salvation from God.
At the hour of trial difficulty and worry.
While writing the name of Holy Prophet.
If some sin is committed, not deliberately, recitation of Darood becomes its atonement.
While looking for the solution of a problem.

While feeling danger.
